Visual Story

Description

Our model is showing off a power house of a hairstyle! This style is blunt cut bob haircut which shows that you know what you want and not afraid to ask for it. We're also loving this color combo. There are elements of grey and blonde which blend in well together. The bob is straight and the hair has been pushed forward so that it can frame her face and give her the perfect oval face shape. The way that the hair falls along side the face, glasses will not suit this look. You are going to need to cut your hair once every 4 weeks or so to keep your ends healthy and ensure that the cut stays blunt. We strongly suggest that you do the color as well. It is to die for! You are going to need to touch up your color once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that the color stays fresh.

Makeup-wise, you do not want do too much with your makeup because you want the cut and color to be the star of the show. Keep your makeup simple and try to only have one focus point on your face like your lips or eyes. Do not forget to highlight and contour your face and neck area no matter what makeup style you decide to do.

Styling Steps

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
