Visual Story

Description

Mads Mikkelsen looks absolutely dashing with this grey hairstyle that we are living for! He has parted his hair down one side, which allows him to comb over his hair and create the illusion that his hair is thicker than it is. This style also shows off his naturally salt and pepper hair color with a blonde tinge at the end. The parting also helps to create height and elongates his face shape. The sides are cut shorter than the top, which frames his forehead area, but this look still has a lot of body and volume, which is good. Mads has a square face shape and a strong jawline, which is why this hairstyle best suits those with a strong jawline, such as a square, triangle, or heart face shape. You are going to need to cut your hair once every 4-6 weeks to keep this look in shape.

Mads has kept a five o'clock shadow look when it comes to his beard, which is very sexy! Make sure you have an after-shave balm to keep your skin fresh and your beard area smooth!

Styling Steps

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

Working in sections starting from the back, place the paddle brush close to the roots and drag it through the strands slowly, taking care not to overheat your hair. Once dry, continue to a new section, completing the back, the sides and then the top section last of all.

To finish, evenly mist gel spray around the top, sides and back to create a lasting style.
