Description
Kim Kardashian is known for her weird and wonderful hairstyles that make a statement, and this up-do is no exception! Kim has straightened her hair and pulled her hair forward, which helps frame her face and neck area nicely. She then twisted her hair into a stylish bun, which added height and volume to this look. With the height of this look, her face is elongated, creating the illusion that her face is thinner than it is, drawing attention to the top half of her face. This technique helps to soften the edges of her face shape. You are going to need to carry a few bobby pins in your bag just in case one breaks. This hairstyle is ideal for those with thin to medium hair density. If your hair is not long, you can add a hairpiece to your bun to make it look more full. This style will best suit those with a strong jawline.
A sensuous smokey eye, as Kim has done, looks stunning with this hairstyle paired with false lashes to make your eyes pop more. Finish off with a nude, matte lipstick color, contour, and highlight your face and neck area, and you are ready to show off your new hairstyle.

Styling Steps
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.
Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.
When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. Once your hairstyle is complete, hold your hair into place and then pin your hair into your desired direction.
