Visual Story

Description

Cailee Spaeny looks astonishing with this classic, timeless black bob. Cailee has a bob with a literal twist because she has added a few twists to this look which adds movement to the bob but also brings attention to her cheekbones. She has a subtle peekaboo bang look, which opens up her forehead yet frames her round face shape week. These bangs are ideal for those with a round face shape as they will draw attention to the longer half of your face, which will help to elongate your face and give you more definition. Keeping this hairstyle one color is ideal because there is so much to look at with this style. You do not want highlights to draw attention away from the style itself. You are going to need to cut this bob once every 4 weeks to keep the look in shape and keep your hair healthy.

A natural makeup application is the best option because this bob does not require a lot of makeup. As Cailee has done, a subtle liner looks fantastic paired with a neutral lipstick color and a bit of blush, and you are ready to show off your new hairstyle!

Styling Steps

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. Apply a small amount of moulding cream to your fingertips, and then starting about halfway down the hair shaft, pinch and drag the hair in a downward motion before flicking the ends out. Remember not to apply too much moulding cream as it will make your hair sticky.
